04/04/06 - Michlae Graves is Coming to town. Yup yup. Hit the shows page for all the detials. Michale Graves is touring in support of his latest solo album, Punk Rock is Dead, and at the same time doing it as a benefit for Damien Echols of the West Memphis Three. Keep your calendars clear for May 28th, 'cause we'll e rockin' out at the Charleroi Italian Club! Keep watching our MySpace, and we'll post more about Gaves, Damien Echols, and the show! Also on the show are Bring Out the Dead and Black Casket! How awesome is that? Your face will be rocked off, so bring an extra one for the ride home. Oh yeah, it's an ALL AGES one too, so all you under-21ers can rock out with the Dion!

03/28/06 - The Hucklebucks were a no-show. Yeah. It takes a while for info to get here. Be sure to check out our MySpace Blog and Message Board as often as possible for the latest information. 02/18/06 - Next Weekend, we rock again. We actually had a weekend off this weekend. We've been punding the strings & skins quite heavily & quite often lately. The plan is to cut back, & focus on recording for a little while. We'll keep you posted

Congratulations to the Rockstar Collective and Shatterpak, respective winners on days 1 & 2 of the Rex Rock Rubmle.

This upcoming weekend, we get to rock at Excuses and the Charleroi VFW. On Friday we rock out with Face Down Presley and Drunk By Six, and on Saturday we rock with SplitScreen and a ridiculous amount of awesome bands. We better see you all there at one of the shows. Hit the shows page for details!

01/22/06 - Weekend of rock completed. Well, we had one rockin' weekend. Friday at the Rex was great, we got exposed to a bunch of new people, and received a lot of praise from the crowd. Johnny B. got some photos of us, check 'em out and read the recaps of the weekend on our MySpace Blog! Jason & Bethany should have some more up soon... and we even got video from both shows this weekend. The Legendary Hucklebucks and Fear DeArc kicked some ass. Saturday at the Bloomfield Bridge Tavern was also a killer show. We totally rocked out with Radio Active, Kamikaze Zero, and the Heart Attacks!

We had a great time at the Rex, and we'd like our next time there to be just as awesome. Get a hold of us via e-mail or MySpace to get your ballots, which also serve as $2 off general admission coupons at the door! We'd really appreciate your support, and we bet you'll dig the other bands.

09/25/05 - Emergenza. Yup. We're gonna do the Emergenza battle of the bands thing this year. Our date is Friday, November 18th... so we expect you to be there to support us! We'll be up "against" some other rockin' local bands, and it should be one hell of a good time.

Bands are judged by a panel as well as crowd votes/response, so we'd like to have a decent crowd cheering for us! Keep checking our shows page, our MySpace, and Pittsburgh Beat for updates on all the bands playing that day. We only know of a few right now.

Although bands aren't required to sell tickets, we can sell 'em at a discount. From us, you'll get 'em for $10, at the door, you'll pay $15. So, I'd suggest you buy 'em form us. I bet secretly that they weigh on your final score... but I'm into conspiracy theories.

What the hell is up with our show luck lately? First, Molly Orange pulls the plug on us for April 14th because they thought some other band would be a better draw... now P.D.'s is getting new owners, and they've fired all the past employees, and cancelled all shows. Their phone number's even been disconnected.

Eric, have you gone insane? Yes, I believe that I have recently gone insane. Let's see how that works out for all of us.

03/25/05 - APRIL 14th SHOW CANCELLED! Well, kinda, let's say if it was a sporint event... it'd be "called" due to lack of planning, and extreme unprofessionalism. So, be sure to stay at home listening to records that night.

Yup. The New Year's party was a blast. Sing the Evens, Play the Odds and a whole bunch of friends came out to rock with us. You can also get a video of us playing "Pickle Farm" live on NYE... thanks to Rippa and his fancy new camera. The only problem is the video's really dark... but the audio is pretty damn good! Not those again... I just signed us up for another (old) mp3.com/purevolume.com clone site, called AudioStreet.net. It looks pretty cool, so if you're into that... go take a look around. (I really dig the layout, & they seem to have a rockin' network of bands and artists.)

More updates? Yes. I have to over-haul the image galleries, and I've been putting that off because it's gonna blow. But eventually (hopefully-reading-"soon") I will have this completed. 11/21/04 - Enter the Contest!
Y Yup! You read it right. Gasoline Dion just recorded three songs with Doug of Overthrow Records / Radiobomb fame, and we're ready to release our very first demo: Pump 17 is On .

What we need from you is cover art. Anything goes. Enter as many times as you like. Have a high quality image that's ready to print, and make a smaller copy (less than 600 x 600 pixels) for sharing. Upload the shared image to the Gasoline Dion Photo Gallery at PittsburhgBeat.com . Then post the image in this thread.

Don't know how to post an image? It's easy. Click on the photo once you get it into the album. Copy its url, and place it between img tags like so:

Yup. I added new information for a show with Mergedown and Sing the Evens, Play the Odds at the Evolution Skate Park in Canton Ohio on Dec. 11th. Yup, you read it right. You finally get to hear our sorry asses... but there's a catch. You have to look at us too. Our pal Jen recorded some stuff for us at a practice and Rippa & I put it to AVI video & converted it to have it available to you here. Right now we've got Windows Media Videos, but hopefully we'll have mpegs available too. Widows Media Video will play with the Windows Media Player that came with your computer... unless you've got a really old PC or one of those Mac things. So anyway, check out the video page, and then be sure to tell us what you think!

Well, I made some flyers for the Nov. 10th show with Faceless Fear at the Smiling Moose. It's the only one I have all the info on right now.

Well, we didn't exactly rock the big bad battle of the bands. Ha ha ha. The whole thing was a fiasco, you can read about it on out Blog or at the message board.
